The Clark County School District (CCSD) seeks to ensure equitable opportunities for minority- and woman-owned businesses and other diverse firms to provide construction, goods and services to the District.
In the summer of 2022, CCSD engaged Keen Independent Research to examine the participation of minority- and woman-owned firms in its contracts as well as conditions in the local marketplace.
Once the study concludes, the results will help CCSD assess its current equity efforts and identify any new measures needed to encourage the participation of diverse businesses in its contracting opportunities.
Customer Research International (CRI) will survey firms by phone to identify companies available for CCSD contracts and subcontracts. Keen Independent Research will then compare the utilization and availability of minority- and woman-owned firms for District work.
