The City of Jefferson Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department has engaged Keen Independent to create a Cultural Arts Master Plan to guide the City in enhancing the community’s quality of life through arts and culture.

Following the public meeting and virtual workshop earlier this year, Keen Independent carefully reviewed community input and relevant plans and documents from the City and produced a draft Jefferson City Cultural Arts Master Plan, which they will share during a Public Meeting on Tuesday, September 12 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at The Linc, 1299 Lafayette St. (President’s Suite). We encourage residents and community members to attend if you are able to provide feedback and ask follow-up questions. Keen Independent is a 24-person national research firm with expertise in arts and culture, equity and economics. Alex Keen, Keen Independent Associate Principal, and Dr. Roksana Filipowska, Keen Independent Consultant, are leading the study.
The study launched in January 2023 and will be completed in October 2023.
