Ms. Omelusik joined Keen Independent after working with large databases for three years at the Spokane Public Library system in Washington State where she was responsible for client relations and communications.
As a Project Coordinator at Keen Independent, her duties include coordinating the firm’s proposal development efforts from initial planning through submission, as well as the production of all study reports; advising and assisting project team members in the application of project procedures; survey development and implementation; and editing and proofreading written materials. Ms. Omelusik also conducts related staff training and skills development.
Anna has contributed to more than 30 Keen Independent availability and disparity studies as well as related assignments. These include studies for the State of Colorado, the cities of Gainesville, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia and Kansas City, Missouri; the cities of New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Alexandria in Louisiana; and state departments of transportation in Arizona, Hawaii, Oregon, Montana, and Missouri.
Ms. Omelusik has also helped develop training videos, as an extension of Keen Independent’s 2014 and 2015 availability and disparity studies for the Arizona Department of Transportation. Anna’s work included development of 11 supportive services videos serving Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), Small Business Concerns (SBCs) and minority- and women-owned businesses and other small businesses statewide.
Anna has recruited, coordinated and conducted in-depth interviews with a wide range of target audiences, including university presidents, provosts, faculty and administrators as part of research conducted for international development institutes serving women in higher education administration. Issues of race and gender were a key focus of these interviews.
Ms. Omelusik graduated, with honors, from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Anna has the privilege of citizenship in the United States and Canada.
